Aguirre: The Wrath of God. According to IMDB: A few decades after the destruction of the Inca empire, a Spanish expedition leaves the mountains of Peru and goes down the Amazon river in search of gold and wealth. Soon, they come across great difficulties and Don Aguirres, a ruthless man who cares only about riches, becomes their leader. But will his quest lead them to "the golden city", or to certain destruction?

We have a week here between camp and Romania, so let's try another movie this Tuesday, July 15th at 7:00. How about Billy Wilder's Avanti!. It is more than a film with mildly superfluous punctuation in its title... it also stars Jack Lemmon! It was nominated for a whole slew of Golden Globes! I had no idea the Golden Globes existed in 1972!
